I have a website - can you redesign it?
The Easyspace design team is often asked to redo work from other companies - maybe the site is out of date and needs a face lift - or the customer has been left high and dry by a designer who won’t update it - or can’t make it so the customer can update it.

Wondering what we do and how we do it?
Easyspace have a great talented team of designers in house - our designers are capable of turning your needs into great eye-catching useable websites - they have proved they can - time after time.
You can be as involved as you like - you will have access 1-2-1 with a dedicated designer - this will be your main contact in Easyspace for your website. We only ever subcontract or outsource on specialist jobs like video production or high level animation - 99% of our project work is done in house - in our design studios.
How long will it take to build and publish my site to the Internet
Before you agree to let Easyspace build your website we will discuss the delivery date of the website and what’s needed to get the website live. Typically our delivery is within two weeks for websites that only consist of a few pages – we have even (on special request delivered sites within 3 days!).
The larger and more complicated a website is – the longer it will take. Easyspace will keep you informed at each step – communication in these projects is key, something we believe in.
Do I get a say in the design of my site – do I get to say when it’s ready?
Yes – when we start the website design process you are allocated an Easyspace designer NOT a sales pro! Our designer works with you closely to achieve your aims. During the process we will suggest ideas, you may suggest ideas – it’s our job to work out how to and implement it in a way that works and that suits you and the aims of your site. WE DO NOT PUBLISH ANYTHING WITHOUT YOUR SAY SO. If you are not happy - neither are we!

Updating and content management
You want a website that you can update easily? Easyspace can help you...
If you build me a website - can I update it myself or do you do it?-
One thing we are always asked about is the updating of the website once it has launched. Easyspace can do this many ways for you. We can make parts, or your entire website updatable by you (or who you designate) very very easily. Or we can update it for you.
We do NOT put your site live and leave you - we are there to help every step of the way.

What about Photos?
Easyspace can provide stock images on request – there is usually little or no charge for this.
Can I have a gallery of images that get larger when people click on them?
Yes we have a few methods of doing this! From collaborative sharing galleries to flash based image viewers which are a particularly nice design.
Can I put links to other sites?
Yes ! Linking to other sites is good and fairly straight forward
Can you do animation?
Yes ! We have expertise in something called “flash” don’t worry if you haven’t heard of it! It allows for some eye catching animations either for your logo or other parts of your site. Click here to see one of our example websites that use flash.
Can I put videos/music on my site?
Yes - we can link in from sites like YouTube - or even host the video in your own website. Our ecommerce shops can also sell Digital products for the budding Musicians/Entrepreneurs
Can you design a logo for me?
Yes! With pleasure - we can even provide you with the artwork which will be ready for your printer to make letter heads and business cards from!
Can I have a secure area on the site that only certain users can see?
Yes! We can do this several ways - these areas can be useful to promote things to special clients or allow remote workers to access documents - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
I don’t have time to write the text or get photos for the website – can you help?
We have specialists in house who can write text for you – this will obviously still require consultation with you - but we can take the strain for you.
All text will be approved by you – as with all our websites – nothing goes live on the internet without your say so.
Search engines

Will search engines be able to find my website?
All Easyspace websites are built at code level to be search engine friendly – this means the when the search engines look at your site they can find what they are looking for easily. The methods we use rely on good quality code (the thing that helps deliver & display your website) and good working practices.
We NEVER say we will get you to number 1 place in Google – be wary of those that promise this! What we do promise however is that your website will be search engine friendly – and that we can help you become more successful within search – we also offer specialist Search Engine Optimisation and submission packages that can help ‘fine tune’ your website to be higher up in search engine rankings.
To be successful on search engines takes a variety of efforts – a good website being key. Good search engine performance also relies heavily on the text that is written on the website itself, the headlines used – and also on the links to and from your website these link to your website could be anything from adverts to blogs to links on partner websites.
All in all to get to be highly placed on a search engine takes effort and know-how – it would be pretty easy to be on the first page of search engines for a phrase like “Leakypipe Plumbers Glasgow” but it’s trickier to be on the first page for “Plumbers in Glasgow” – we know which term is searched for more!!

Can I see an inventory and manage my customers through an Easyspace online shop?
Yes – the technology we use has these features built in.
Can I add new products and change prices of products myself?
Yes – our mid range and custom ecommerce shops allow this function easily.
Can I add an online shop later if I want?
Yes – no problem – we can give you an ecommerce solution that scales with you – from a simple PayPal shop to a fully functional out of the box shop to a completely bespoke ecommerce solution.

What’s the payment process when buying a website with Easyspace?
Easyspace accept all major credit cards - we will talk you through what we will do - send you a quotation and once you are happy - we can take payment
Can I pay in installments?
We are willing to discuss a structured method of payment on custom design or ecommerce jobs.
What happens when my website is live?
The launch of your website is just the beginning - Easyspace are with you all the way...
Can I see how my website is performing?
Yes – we can set you up web stats or even install Google analytics for free ! This will allow you to track customers to your website see what they are doing, and also see where areas can be improved.
Can you help with the promotion of my website?
Easyspace have several products that can help with the promotion of your website - all great value.
Advertising and links?
Easyspace can design your website so you can have space for advertising banners – we also have the ability to give you control of what advertising banners you show.
Search engines?
We can simply submit your package to the search engines for you – this will tell them where your site is and how to find it – this can take a while – we do however offer package called Easywebsubmit which should speed things up and also allow for more entries onto more search engines.
Will I be able to add pages, databases at a later date?
Yes – Easyspace are with you every step of the way – we will be here to help only a phone call or email away !
Can I move my website to another supplier to host it once designed?
If you want to - yes. Easyspace web design runs on the world class Easyspace hosting platform though, and if you spend over £1000 we can also set you up on a state of the art Virtual server – so why you would want to move – we don’t know !!
